Hello all Berneses admirers!
Our first Bernese [PASJA] turned out into our house in spring 2000. However
we hadn't known anything about this breed six months before. By chance we
bought a copy of monthly: 'My friend dog', in which there were presented
Bernese Mountain Dogs. These articles aroused our interest. We had talked
about a dog previously. It should have been a big dog resistant to the weather
conditions, not agressive, with a spectacular appearance. Bernese Mountain
Dog was exactly that, which we were looking for. We quickly made ourselves
acquainted with the opinions which the magazine included, we were also observing
our dogs for years. Bernese is well built and covered by thick tricolor
fur, so that's why they are so admired. They had also good teritorial sense,
loud barking and big size whereby they can scare away every intruder. It
makes them good guardians of yard, however Berneses aren't agressive to
unknowns, when there is one of the household member beside. Bernese Mountain
Dog needs permanent contact with people. They can't stand loneliness and
being closed in the pen. They can be with us from all the time, they also
demand interest and caresses. Our dogs live in house, with us. They got
used to this since they were small puppies.
We took part in international and national shows with our first female.
We obtained the status of a breeding female. PASJA had three very aligned
litters. We have always chosen a studdog that could be the best for our
female. Breeding can't be only a fickle gain. All of our puppies went to
nice houses. New owners became our new friends.
Our two young females are excellent companionship to the oldest. We hope
that they will be a good material to continue our hobby.
